‘Bushie and Broome local Malcolm Douglas is still wondering what to make of the Western Australian Tourism Commission after it approached him to appear in Elle Macpherson’s controversial campaign to promote the West.
After he agreed to appear, the WATC told Douglas he was “too well-known” and would push Macpherson out of the spotlight, so they sent him on his way.
A bemused Douglas isn’t shattered by missing Macpherson. After all, he was frantically busy finishing his latest documentary, Kimberley Adventure.
